Student Responsibilities

The student will understand that every behavior has a consequences. In order to avoid unpleasant results they will act in ways that will guarantee more favorable results.  The child perceives that he has a choice and accepts the relationship of the results to his actions. Students will learn to conduct themselves appropriately in the classroom.  They will be responsible without being penalized or rewarded because they feel that they are valuable contributors to the classroom. The consquences for their behavior are logical and appropriate.

Giving students choices empowers them to a healthy climate in the classroom.
